We have finally managed to get hold of some tickets, so were meeting him on the 24th Nov, so can use the piccy on christmas cards!! Also can grab some christmas shopping in too.
We are going to have to stay over as we'll be coming from Manchester.....Anyone reccomened a place to stay, I have 2 ds's 3 and 6? Need it to be cheap too if poss??

Globally renowned and always eagerly anticipated, this year’s Christmas World at Harrods celebrated its centenary by giving Father Christmas his very own beach party to mark the spectacular 100 year partnership. Dragging the festive fellow away from his summer holidays was no mean feat - but with a little ingenuity, eight tonnes of sand and a worldly acclaimed sand sculptor the team at Harrods managed to do it.
Loved by the public and Father Christmas alike, the masterpiece created by Andrew Bayne brought with it the seasonal cheer that Harrods is so exceptional at spreading. Since the sand arrived on Friday morning Andrew has spent 30 hours busily bringing the piece to life. Depicting two reindeer, a Christmas tree and a sleigh full of presents, the sculpture pays homage to the unrivalled emporium of all things – Harrods Christmas World, which opened Saturday 2nd August but was officially launched on Tuesday 5th August. Selling more than 8km of tinsel and 500,000 Christmas tree decorations every year, it’s definitely an emporium worth celebrating. Look forward to seeing Father Christmas in and around his grotto from 1st November!

think its a beach theme, go onto harrods website and on events i'm sure it says something there.

Hi have read all this post but does not say the theme this year - I have tickets my dear old dad stayed up the other night and booked for me and my 2 dd's and my sis and her two kids - nice suprise from him - bless !!!!
Just wanted to know hat the theme was it was sleeping beauty last year????

how good is it??? was thinking of combining a visit with some shopping but we live near manchester and wiuold have to stay overnight becuase of the kids.... if its wirth it we'd do it but dont want to waste all that time and money if its not and could give someone else our slot

I tried booking online but it said it couldnt be completed so to call, which I did but only got to leave my details on answerphone. Now I dont know if i got them or not and that day is now showing as sold out

hi ladies we are visiting santa on the 21st dec at harrords we have booked a room in a travelodge just outside london for £19 for me dp and 2 kids hth's xx
