I have a laptop from pc world and mines been sent off for repair many times.   They will only give you a new laptop if they cant repair it.

Hi my DH works for pc world (not in a store) and there is no way they will give you a new laptop if you take it into the store, they have 'procedures' to go through!!!  I'm being sarcastic there as we had a similar problem, and it had to go back even tho they caused the 2nd problem.  Dh normally knows all the ways around these things but there was nothing he could do.  To find out what the problem was(that they had caused) they had to see it.  Maybe you could phone their customer services, let them know how put out you are and see if you can get any compensation.  We didn't get any but that was because they couldn't be seen to be giving him any special treatment!!!

    Good luck xxx
