If you have an Ikea near you you should try them too. They don't do cotbeds but they have some nice cots (and loads of other baby things) and they're really cheap! And if it's cheap enough it wont be quite as bad having to replace it sooner than you would replace a cotbed. They have a lot of things on their website too.4/10/08 14:06
Prefer brand new really but will check out ebay, thanks.

Or if you don't mind second hand, again try ebay or local papers, free ads and maybe even freecycle.4/10/08 12:50
Argos, kiddicare.com and ebay. We got our cotbed from ebay - brand new Saplings one with mattress for £120 which isn't too bad especially as it's been used by two kids now

Hi guys, I'm looking for a cot bed and furniture for my friends baby, hope someone can help with finding a bargain !! Thanks.

I would defo recommend she buys second-hand from somewhere like AdTrader. The stuff people sell is like new and usually less than half the price. If she felt happier she could then just buy a new mattress.
