We d a delonghi bambino oil heater, the website worked it out to run on 9p a day if left on all day.. But we stupidly used it in a giant room and it took forever to heat up lol.. However now that it is in a medium size room, its ideal.. It does heat up alot though so i cant leave it with the kids alone..

Iv bought a fan heater from argos too, its brilliant... Has a thermostat switch too so the room doesnt get cold in the night and its perfect for the kiddies room.. Iv placed it under a dressing unit, they cannot access the bottom so its ideal lol..

def an oil filled rad... much better than panel heater in my opinion xx as pp said, just plug in and have a thermostat (they are oil filled and that heats up ... you can't get at the oil so totally safe). Depending on room size you shouldn't need one that big and would prob get one big enough for around the £40 mark! x

p.s. they do get very hot so you would have to make sure DD couldnt touch it, as they heat up much more than a radiator!

We also have an oil heater, you just plug it in and set the thermostat (takes a bit of trial and error to get the room heat right). Got it from Wickes a few years back, think its their own make, for around £50 and it still works perfectly. We worked it out and its quite efficient too so doesnt cost a fortune to run!

i use an oil heater in my sons room on really cold nights. You just plug it in. It has a thermostat so will switch itself off when the room gets to temp!!!
