My dp has a professional camer and has been taking photos as a hobby for around 18 months and at the beginning of this year he did some tasteful pics of me. (well there were a couple of rude ones!)

He'd never done any portraits before so was his first go but has been practising so would prob do them really well now. We had fun.

Why not get your dp to take some just for fun? Keep them in an album perhaps to look back on?

like someone else said, i woudl take someone with you. and make sure you make it clear that the photos can't be used anywhere, i think there's some sort of document you can make them sign but not 100% sure.

Apart from that, i'd go for it!!!

I was just thinking you can't display them in the front room for everyone to see, well you could i guess if you're that way inclinde lol. I suppose they would have to be bedroom material fyeo. Well i'ts your choice. My ex took some of me, some of which i might be a bit embarrased about now but most of which were quite tastefully done but if when we had them printed they remained in an album which he had, and goodness knows what happened to it. The mind boggles...

Go for it, providing everything looks above board why not, take your dp along just to make sure unless it's gonna be a surprise. The only thing i would ask is where are you going to put them if you have them done?
