I am not a girly girl anyway, and on the odd occasion I have had flowers for example, off my Mother when I had my children..... I never knew what to do. I plopped them in one of my several unused vases, and there they stayed!

I would much prefer a foot massage and 2 hours with the tv remote uninteruppted by my darlin children.

Maybe I can get my chap to agree to some take away once the children are in bed.

I have to agree with Link much prefer the non cooking option.

I don't get that any more no take aways in rural France lol, you even have to book take away (collect yourself) pizza 2hrs in advance!!!!

I now get bought flowers in a pot much better option, I have now discovered I can grow orchids here.

yeah to be honest i think this flowers business, whilst nice once in a while, or for special occasions (birthday, mothers day, anniversaries, births etc), i think flowers on a regular basis, "just because i love you" is a load of nonsense, in my opinion (just for you Kath lol). If i was a woman, i'd much rather have that money spent on a takeaway.

I don't think we could afford to spend money on flowers though. We have these two monsters to worry about first, and as I don't work, we have to be careful.

awww thats so sweet! i love getting flowers! my dh gets me a bouquet at least 2 times a month...i am one lucky lady! he always picks out the prettiest arrangements too....weird

I have never received any flowers either my dp thinks they are to expensive too and he thinks i would think he was guilty of something. xx

I feel so sad. I have never had any flowers off my other half and we been together 7 years!

He says they are too expensive and he would rather I had something to keep. He has never got me anything to keep either.

I used to think maybe he was planning a special gift, maybe some jewelry or something. I can drean on I think.

he has been in ireland all week and not back till tomorrow, just had a knock at the door and a lady presents me with a lovely summery bouque.......he is sooo sweet.... very lucky xx
